Celebrating St David’s Day at Ysgol Sadwrn!

March 1st is a special day in Wales, and this year, our school has marked the celebrations with enthusiasm and pride. We learned about the life of St. David, the Patron Saint of Wales. We took our learners on a virtual journey to special places across Wales, from St. David’s in Pembrokeshire to other areas believed to have been visited by him. We explored his simple message: “Do the little things,” to encourage appreciation for the small, meaningful actions in our daily lives.

If St. David’s Day has filled you with a longing for Wales and the Welsh language, why not join our online community? At Ysgol Sadwrn, we welcome learners from all over the world who want to connect with their Welsh heritage, improve their language skills, and be part of a supportive and inspiring group.

Whether you’re just beginning your journey with the Welsh language or looking to deepen your knowledge, we offer lessons to help you feel closer to Wales. Join us and celebrate Welsh identity every day—not just on March 1st!
