Live Online Lessons

Ysgol Sadwrn’s live lessons are weekly, online Welsh classes designed for children aged 3–14, taught by qualified and experienced Welsh tutors. The next lessons will begin the weekend of 6th September and typically run on Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings.

Sessions last one hour for children aged 6–14 and half an hour for younger learners aged 3–5. Classes are held in small groups of around 10 pupils, following a culturally rich curriculum that celebrates Wales’s unique identity and heritage.

Lessons typically start at £15 per hour, which includes weekly marking of written work to support ongoing progress.

“Thank you so much to all of you for giving L and me this Ysgol Sadwrn experience. She really enjoys the lessons, even though she can be a little shy at times, but she often talks about how much she enjoys them. It’s such a special opportunity for all of us to be able to use Welsh and to see other people using it too.”

These interactive lessons help children living beyond Wales build confidence in Welsh, connect with others, and be part of a supportive Welsh-speaking community—no matter where they live.
